It also occurs in the nonsense-mediated mRNA decay protein 2 (NMD2p).hich is involved in nonsense-mediated decay of mRNAs containing premature stop codons.nd nuclear cap-binding protein (CBP80). The domain is rich in alpha-helices and may contain multiple alpha-helical repeats. In eIF4G.his domain binds eIF4A.IF3.NA and DNA.
